  • How long will it take the Aged English Sharp Farmhouse to go bad after opening if kept in the fridge?

    As a general rule, all of the cheeses will keep for over 100 days under refrigeration; the “best by” date is stamped on the back of each box, and differs according to the cheese. If you want to keep your cheese longer, however, you can always freeze them. The cheeses that are best kept in the refrigerator are the Smoked Farmhouse, Sharp Farmhouse, and Rustic Alpine, which will continue to age and become firmer over time, especially if removed from the plastic packaging and wrapped in waxed paper or parchment. While freezing will not affect quality, your cheese won’t improve in flavor or texture, either (in other words, it will remain unchanged).
