Questions & Answers

Ask a Question
  • Is your vegan butter peanut free?

Yes, the VeganButter is peanut-free. Everything we currently make is peanut-free as well.

  • Is there any hydrogenated oil in the butter?

There are no hydrogenated oils in the VeganButter (or any product that we make).

  • How long will the butter and cheeses last both in the freezer and refrigerator? Thanks!

    Hi Sonia,

The cheeses and butter can last for months in the freezer as long as the storage container has a tight seal to avoid frost and/or "freezer burn."

If the product is opened, storage in the refrigerator is entirely dependent on conditions such as humidity, other items in the fridge, type of storage, etc., but in general our products tend to last from one to two weeks once opened.

If the product is unopened, it will last as long as the expiration date allows.

    Hope this helps!

  • Can this butter be successfully frozen?

Yes, the butter can be frozen!

Recommend cutting it into smaller portions before freezing. That way you can take out what you plan to use in a week.

  • I would really love to try this since I am required to go dairy and soy free, however... the soy. Any plans in the future to use sunflower lecithin instead of the soy lecithin one day? I'd happily pay a few cents more if required just to have something that I'm sure tastes like actual butter or as good as. I've heard such fabulous reviews of your products that I'm sure it tastes great, it's just the soy problem for us.

We're working on replacing the soy lecithin with a non-soy lecithin but have yet to find one that performs well. We'll continue to work on it until we find one. Thanks for your feedback and we hope you'll get the opportunity to try it soon!

  • I received this delicious product as a gift. We threw away the packaging. We have been keeping it covered with plastic wrap on our granite counter. Is it best to refrigerate it? Thank you!

Keep refrigerated or you can freeze it. Best to also keep in a clean sealable container. Recommend cutting it into smaller portions before freezing. That way you can take out what you plan to use in a week.

  • Is this available in U.K. Please?

Our products are not currently available in the UK. We hope one day!
