Miyoko's Cream Sauce is ready-to-heat: shake or stir well before using as separation may occur. Place over medium heat and stir a few times to prevent sticking. The sauce will thicken as it heats. Once bubbling and the texture of a rich cream sauce, it is ready to eat! It will thicken more as it cools down. If you are baking a casserole in the oven, there is no need to thicken beforehand, the sauce will thicken as it bakes.

It's 30-days from when we ship from our facility (therefore about 28-days by the time it arrives at your doorstep). You can also freeze this item to extend shelf life and then you'll want to consume it within 30-days of thawing in the fridge.
