  • Do you ship to the east coast?

  • Can your cheeses be frozen to use later? How long will they last in refrigerator?

    As a general rule, all of the cheeses will keep for about 100 days under refrigeration; the “best by” date is stamped on the back of each box, and differs according to the cheese. If you want to keep your cheese longer, however, you can always freeze them.

    Winter Truffle can be frozen. Additionally Double Cream Chive, Sundried Tomato, Garlic Herb, VeganButter, and Cheese Sauce freeze beautifully. If you plan to keep them for longer than the recommended shelf life, it’s a good idea to stick them in the freezer.  While the Loire Valley, Black Ash, and Herbes de Provence can be frozen, it’s best just to keep them refrigerated and consume them within their shelf life. If you choose to freeze VeganMozz it will be a Crumble and Melt when it is thawed.   The cheeses that are best kept in the refrigerator are the Smoked Farmhouse, Sharp Farmhouse, and Rustic Alpine, which will continue to age and become firmer over time, especially if removed from the plastic packaging and wrapped in waxed paper or parchment. While freezing will not affect quality, your cheese won’t improve in flavor or texture, either (in other words, it will remain unchanged).
